All the world’s a stage,
And all the men & women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances, And one man in his time plays many parts

Treasurer, Technical Director, and Co-Founder
Steve has a career in construction that spans four decades. He has done everything from digging ditches to owning his own construction and remodeling company. This breadth of experience has helped him to understand the planning and actualization that goes into every stage of a project, and he is eager to apply his skills to The Penny Stinkards.
Steve’s theatrical experience dates back to high school, but it wasn’t until he met Sarah many years later that he returned to the stage. He has performed in several different venues and genres: college, outdoor, community, and children’s theatre. Favorite roles include Mr. Ford in Merry Wives of Windsor and Reverend Parris in The Crucible (a role which he has played multiple times).
Even though Steve enjoys his time onstage, he also excels offstage, fulfilling roles such as stage manager, and set and prop design and construction. The challenge of taking an empty space and fitting it to the world of the production is what excites Steve the most. His favorite challenge was building a collapsible dagger from scratch for a production of Romeo and Juliet.
In his spare time, Steve is active in the Boy Scouts, serving as a leader, merit badge counselor, Eagle Scout mentor, and camp leader.
